Bruno Henrique praises Flamengo squad’s effort after derby win

Flamengo took the field with its main players for the first time this season and defeated Vasco 1-0 this Wednesday, in the Campeonato Carioca. Starting in the derby, Bruno Henrique highlighted the quality of the red-and-black squad and stated that, even without being 100% physically, the team put in a good performance in the classic.

“When it was determined that we would play in the derby, the group was present to seek victory over Vasco. We know we’re not in the best condition, but we must congratulate those who were here to start the journey in 2026 on the right foot,” he told SporTV.
