Tajon Buchanan won’t leave Inter this January, as the Nerazzurri have reportedly decided to keep him at the San Siro, ending speculation about a potential loan move to other Serie A clubs to get more playing time.
The Canada international was said to be weighing up the prospect of finding a temporary destination for the next six months as his National Team’s coach, Jesse Marsch, also confirmed, by recently claiming the midfielder is aware ‘he needs to play’.

Torino and Fiorentina emerged as potential options for Buchanan in recent weeks, with the Granata looking particularly interested in bringing him in to provide coach Paolo Vanoli with a further alternative on the wings.
However, Tuttomercatoweb reported that Inter have changed their stance, deciding to retain Buchanan at least until the end of the season despite pressing requests from the interest clubs.
The 25-year-old came on in the second half of the Nerazzurri’s 4-0 thrashing of Lecce, picking up his sixth Serie A appearance since returning from injury in November.
