For Toni Kroos, Bayern will be Bundesliga champions this season. But, at a record-breaking date.

At the start of this season, Bayern already have six wins from six Bundesliga matches, with a +22 goal difference. That’s already a four-point lead over Borussia Dortmund, their closest challenger. With such a flawless start, Bayern Munich should have little trouble securing the title this year, according to former midfielder Toni Kroos. The former Real Madrid player even predicts Bayern could clinch the title at a record-early date this season, given the lack of serious competition.

"As a player, I always hated it when people said: 'You’ll be champions this year, for sure.' Because you still have to play the games. Still, I think Bayern will be champions this season in March, or April at the latest. I know as a player you don’t always want to hear that, but that’s how it is. This year, it’s obvious. They’re too far ahead. Leverkusen are in a full-blown crisis. Dortmund and Leipzig can’t compete over the long haul. None of those teams are consistent enough to challenge them in the table," Kroos revealed on the Einfach mal Luppen podcast.

As a reminder, in 2014, Bayern were crowned champions as early as March 25, with seven matches still remaining in the season.
