Matchday 34 closed the 2025/26 Bundesliga, and the Team of the Week lines up in a 4-4-2.

According to BuLi News, Mainz goalkeeper Daniel Batz bowed out with a clean sheet, making five saves in his final outing before a summer exit.

On the right, Hamburger SV’s Nicolas Capaldo made three key passes, set up a goal and posted 0.68 xG while defending well. Gladbach’s Kevin Diks excelled at centre-back, netting his fifth of the season, completing 93 percent of passes and winning four of five duels.

Freiburg’s Matthias Ginter hit the woodwork before Jan-Niklas Beste’s opener, then scored himself, staying assured at the back. FC Bayern’s Tom Bischof crowned a fine display with a superb goal and won eight of nine duels.

Wolfsburg’s Christian Eriksen missed a penalty yet was involved in all three goals of a vital 3-1 win over St. Pauli in the relegation fight. Mainz’s Nadiem Amiri netted his 12th league goal, created two chances and won all six duels.

Up front, Union’s Andrej Ilic struck twice in a 4-0 win against Augsburg. FC Bayern’s Harry Kane hit a hat-trick to finish on 36 league goals from 31 appearances.
