Nemanja Gudelj could remain near Seville as he weighs a switch to Cádiz in LaLiga Hypermotion after leaving Sevilla.
ABC de Sevilla reports that Cádiz have the 34-year-old on their agenda to reinforce midfield and defence in a push to return to LaLiga. His free-agent status simplifies talks, with no fee beyond typical signing-on costs.
For the Nuevo Mirandilla club, his experience would add instant authority, fitting a new roadmap after a recent institutional overhaul. Mexican businessman Christian Septien has bought the club, launching an ambitious plan to build a highly competitive squad.
Gudelj spent seven seasons at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, playing 261 competitive games, captaining at times and winning two UEFA Europa League titles. He has operated both as a holding midfielder and at centre-back.
His exit underlines a change of cycle at Sevilla this summer. He has also considered offers from Red Star Belgrade, and any move to a nearby rival would be closely watched by Sevilla supporters.
