Morocco captain Achraf Hakimi has clinched the 2025 CAF Men’s Player of the Year recognising one of the most impactful seasons African player has delivered in recent memory.

The award handed out by the Confederation of African Football CAF in Rabat pays tribute to Hakimi’s triple winning year with Paris Saint Germain and his leadership with the Moroccan national team.

Record breaking season: numbers that tell the story

With PSG, Hakimi helped secure historic UEFA Champions League title for the club alongside the French Ligue 1 & Coupe de France completing the treble.
In the 2024 /25 campaign across all competitions: 8 goal and 12 assist
From January to October 2025: 9 goal + 11 assist for PSG & Morocco combined.
Internationally Hakimi contributed to Morocco’s continued run of success and early qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
He also became the first Moroccan and seventh African to score in UEFA Champions League final doing so for PSG in 2025.
