Andrea Cambiaso feels that the fight for the 2025-26 Serie A title is ‘wide open’, and feels that ‘anything can happen’, but believes that there are two teams who are currently a cut above the rest of the opposition at the top of the table.
As things stand, four teams – Napoli, Inter, Milan and Roma – are separated by just one point at the top of the Serie A table. Bologna and Juventus sit just four points off the lead as well.
Juventus, who became the first side in Serie A to sack their head coach this season, parting company with Igor Tudor and replacing him with Luciano Spalletti, will have an opportunity to improve on their points tally when they take on Torino in the Derby della Mole on Saturday.

Cambiaso, speaking in an in-depth interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, explained why he thinks that Inter and Napoli are one level above the rest of the competition in the current Serie A title race.
When asked which team he thinks is most likely to win the Scudetto at the end of the 2025-26 campaign, he replied: “Napoli and Inter.”
Expanding on his selections, Cambiaso added: “Napoli because they are reigning champions, Inter because of what they’ve shown in recent years.
“We’re playing in a very open fight. And if the fight is open, anything can happen.”
