Cameroon and Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals: what do the numbers say?

Cameroon will face Morocco on Friday, January 9, in a match counting for the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025).
Both teams secured their spots at this stage by overcoming South Africa (2-1) and Tanzania (1-0) respectively.
The Indomitable Lions are aiming to clinch the AFCON trophy for the sixth time, following their previous triumphs in 1984, 1988, 2000, 2002, and 2017.
