Liam Rosenior has praised Enzo Maresca for the job he did at Chelsea, as he revealed how he wants his team to play.
The 41-year-old was confirmed as Chelsea’s new head coach on Tuesday, and has signed a six and half year contract at Stamford Bridge.
Rosenior watched on from the stands at Craven Cottage on Wednesday night as the Blues lost 2-1 to Fulham, and are now on a run of one win in nine in the league.
Rosenior has got a huge job on his hands, and he’s got little time to implement anything, with seven games in four competitions still to go this month.
Chelsea have reportedly told Rosenior Champions League qualification is crucial, but the Blues currently sit eighth in the table and just four points above Tottenham in 14th.
Rosenior revealed he told the players he wants to be a winning Chelsea manager, and the hard work for him begins now.

The former Strasbourg boss spoke to Sky Sports before the game, and he revealed what he wanted to see from his team.
“I think Enzo did a really good job with the team tactically,” he told Sky Sports.
“My game is not dissimilar but obviously there are some different elements tactically in the way that I play that I want to put my stamp on.
“People talk about tactics, systems and philosophies but I want to se a good energy, I want to see a team that is hard to beat, that runs for each other, that fights.
“Intensity, spirit, energy and commitment, those things can take you a long way as well as the quality that we have.”
Rosenior won’t manage his first Premier League game until January 17th against Brentford at Stamford Bridge.
