Carabao Cup quarter-final draw as Arsenal and Chelsea learn opponents | OneFootball

All of the big sides have been kept apart in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup after the draw was made on Wednesday night. 

Arsenal will host Crystal Palace after easing past Brighton, while the Eagles reached the last eight by hammering Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield.

Holders Newcastle United have been rewarded for their 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur with a home tie against Fulham, who needed a penalty shootout to beat Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday.

Brentford will have to travel to Manchester City after ending Grimsby Town’s fairytale cup run. Pep Guardiola’s side came from behind to beat Championship outfit Swansea City 3-1 away.

Chelsea will be on the road for the fourth consecutive round in the competition after being drawn away to League One side Cardiff City, the only remaining club from outside the Premier League. The Blues beat Wolves 4-3 at Molineux on Wednesday, while the Bluebirds overcame Wrexham on Tuesday.
