Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has named a 28-man squad for the Black Stars’ World Cup preparation camp and their final warm-up friendly against Wales in Cardiff.

The squad, which includes five goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders and seven forwards, will be trimmed closer to the final competition.

Inaki Williams and Antoine Semenyo headline the squad, with Thomas Partey and Jordan Ayew also included.

There are a number of notable returns. Baba Abdul Rahman earns a recall after an impressive season with PAOK in Greece, marking his first involvement in nearly three years. Ernest Nuamah is back in the setup following a long injury layoff with an ACL issue, while Abdul Mumin also returns after more than a year out.

Augustine Boakye comes back into the squad after missing previous camps, and Ajax youngster Paul Reverson is included as part of long-term assessment.

Ghana face Wales on June 2 in Cardiff, with one more friendly expected before the World Cup. The Black Stars will then head into the tournament, where they face Panama, England and Croatia in Group L.
