Real Madrid locked horns with Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in La Liga. Los Blancos made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Alvaro Carreras scored the opener in the 65th minute before Kylian Mbappe killed the game off in injury time when he found the back of the net. The match ended with Alvaro Arbeloa’s men earning a solid 2-0 win away from home.
