CBF confirms officiating team for Flamengo v Internacional

The Brazilian Football Confederation confirmed Rodrigo José Pereira de Lima as referee for Flamengo v Internacional in the second round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, Wednesday at 19:00 Brasília time.

He will be assisted by Alessandro Álvaro Rocha de Matos (BA) and Eduardo Gonçalves da Cruz (MS), with Caio Max Augusto Vieira (GO) in charge of VAR.

Rodrigo José Pereira de Lima took charge of five Flamengo matches in the 2025 Brasileirão and was involved in controversies. Against Bahia in Salvador, he sent off Danilo in the first half and also dismissed Wallace Yan.

He later showed a red card to Gonzalo Plata in the match against São Paulo at Vila Belmiro. Not all memories are sour for Flamengo, though, as he oversaw the 1-0 win over Ceará in the penultimate round that sealed the club’s ninth Brasileirão title.

Premiere pay-per-view will broadcast the game live, while Coluna do Fla TV will provide real-time reactions throughout the 90 minutes.
