CBF sets early Brasileirão dates as Santos open at Chapecoense | OneFootball

According to Diario Do Peixe, the CBF has set out the opening rounds of the Brasileirão, with Santos to kick off away to Chapecoense on Wednesday 28 January at 20:00 at Arena Condá.

Early league fixtures will be staged on Wednesdays and Thursdays while state championships continue at weekends.

Across the first eight rounds, three Santos matches are scheduled for free-to-air television, the derby with Corinthians, the home game against Internacional and the trip to Cruzeiro.

After Chapecoense, Santos host São Paulo on Wednesday 4 February at 20:00 at Vila Belmiro, on Premiere. They then face Vasco on Thursday 26 February at 19:00 at Vila Belmiro, on SporTV and Premiere.

The Corinthians clash is set for Sunday 15 March at 16:00 at Vila Belmiro on Globo, GE TV and Premiere. Internacional visit on Wednesday 18 March at 21:30, also on Globo, GE TV and Premiere. Cruzeiro v Santos is slated for Sunday 22 March at 16:00 at Mineirão on Globo and Premiere.

Several later fixtures are listed with date windows rather than fixed slots, with details to be confirmed.
