CBF will meet Serie A clubs on Monday 23 to discuss refereeing, according to Coluna Do Fla, after Flamengo drew 1-1 with Corinthians in the eighth round of the Brasileirão.
These sessions are held weekly, and Monday's meeting is set to focus on incidents from Flamengo v Corinthians.
Seven minutes into the second half, Evertton Araújo reached the ball first in a challenge with Breno Bidon, but then caught the Corinthians midfielder's heel. Rodrigo José Pereira de Lima showed the Flamengo player a straight red card.
Late on, Corinthians appealed for a penalty when André went down under pressure from Ayrton Lucas in the area. The referee waved play on, a call upheld after a VAR check.
After the match, CBF released the VAR audio of communications between Rodrigo José Pereira de Lima and Wagner Reway. In assessing the Araújo incident, the video official said the contact was light and questioned the decision to send him off, recommending an on-field review.
Following the monitor check, the referee maintained the dismissal, arguing that Araújo caught Bidon high and low.
