Celtic are having one final push (see below) to try and sell so far unsold tickets for the Newcastle United match.

The pre-season kick-off is a 3pm kick-off this coming Saturday.

With Celtic struggling to sell tickets and Newcastle United having swiftly sold out their initial 7,200 allocation, the Glasgow club were happy to give United thousands more tickets and 10,000+ will be officially travelling to the game.

However, I know plenty of other Newcastle United fans, especially those living up in Scotland who aren’t season ticket holders (at St James’ Park), who have bought tickets in the home sections.

It looks now like it is going to be a decent crowd for the match, here’s hoping the 10,000+ travelling black and whites have a great time on Saturday.

‘This weekend is all about returning to Paradise – the supporters are back, Kieran Tierney is back and the Champions of Scotland are back on home soil.

Newcastle United are also returning to Celtic Park for the first time in almost 20 years, following their last visit in July 2007. This time, the English League Cup winners will bring with them the biggest ever away support for a home game at Paradise, as 10,000 Magpies fans will flock to Glasgow this Saturday (July 19).

It’s the perfect opportunity for fans to see new Bhoys such as Benjamin Nygren, Hayato Inamura and Callum Osmand in the Hoops at Celtic Park for the first time, and get a preview of what the 2025/26 season has in store.

With less than three weeks to go until the new season begins, Celtic versus Newcastle United is the first chance to see the Bhoys at Paradise this summer and is set to be a fantastic day out for the whole family.

The last remaining tickets are available now, as well as luxurious Hospitality options for those looking to enjoy the game in style.
