Cesc Fàbregas’s Como ‘to make an offer’ for Benfica striker Pavlidis | OneFootball

According to Glorioso 1904, Como, coached by Cesc Fàbregas, are interested in Benfica striker Vangelis Pavlidis as they prepare for next season’s Champions League.

The Greece international, 27, is under contract at Benfica until 2029 and has a 100 million euros release clause. After two seasons at the Estádio da Luz, he remains a leading figure in their attack.

Beşiktaş are also monitoring his situation. Benfica are understood to be seeking around 30 million euros, leaving scope for negotiations.

Should a move to Türkiye materialise, Pavlidis could be reunited with Sidny Cabral, who recently joined Trabzonspor.

For now, Rui Costa’s hierarchy intend to keep the core of the squad intact until the new season begins. The plan is for Marco Silva to assess the group in depth before final decisions on arrivals and departures.
