MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup Round One saw the Philadelphia Union advance to the Round of 16 with contributions from its Game-Changer Cavan Sullivan.

Sullivan came off the bench in the First Leg and had an immediate impact. He entered in the 65’ and assisted Bruno Damiani’s goal just four minutes later. He also forced a penalty kick in the 78’ that led to the Union’s fifth tally of the night.

The Union’s rising star completely took over in the second leg with a brace and two assists as part of the 7-nil victory. At 16 years, 4 months and 28 days, he became the youngest scorer for an MLS side in Champions Cup history.

His four goal contributions in the Second Leg helped the reigning MLS Supporters’ Shield winners advance to the Round of 16, where they will face off against Liga MX’s Club América.
