PSG vs Bayern

Just hours before the PSG vs Bayern Champions League showdown, the Bavarians have released a statement to alert UEFA.

Yesterday, Bayern filed a complaint with UEFA. The Bavarians are furious and are protesting against last-minute measures imposed by the Paris police on their 2,000 supporters who came to witness the clash against PSG. This Tuesday afternoon, the German club broke its silence again with an official statement.

"The Paris police prefecture issued a last-minute order on the eve of the Champions League match between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes. The fifteen buses transporting the defending champions’ supporters had to gather at a toll station on the outskirts of Paris, on the A4 motorway, and were only allowed to leave for the stadium at 5 p.m., under police escort. Even buses that had already arrived in Paris were forced to return and head to the toll station. The facilities on site are deplorable: just one restroom, with no food or drink available. Furthermore, the treatment of supporters is far from acceptable. Due to the late arrival time, which will affect the bus drivers’ schedules, departure will only be possible six to seven hours after the match. This regulation forces supporters to remain in the parking lot in front of the stadium until departure. In addition to these unacceptable conditions, many supporters will not be able to go to work the next day. Paris Saint-Germain and UEFA are supporting FC Bayern in this matter; FC Bayern will not let this issue remain unresolved." the statement published on the Bavarians’ official website reads.
