Inter kicked off their 2025/26 Champions League campaign with a 2-0 win against Ajax at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam, where Marcus Thuram bagged a brace. Chivu’s Inter are one of 14 teams to have started the League Phase with a victory. The top eight teams will qualify directly for the round of 16, while those finishing ninth to 24th will entre the knockout phase play-offs
