Arsenal progressed to the last eight with a composed 3-1 aggregate win over Bayer Leverkusen.
Liverpool roared back from a first-leg deficit to dismantle Galatasaray 4-0 at Anfield.
The Gunners now face Sporting CP, travelling to Lisbon for the first leg on April 7 before hosting the return fixture on April 15.
Mikel Arteta’s side will be confident, having never lost to Sporting in five previous European meetings.
However, the Portuguese champions arrive with momentum after a stunning comeback against Bodo/Glimt.
Liverpool renew hostilities with reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG knocked the Reds out last season en route to their maiden European crown, adding extra edge to this encounter.
The first leg takes place in Paris on April 8, with Anfield hosting the decisive clash a week later.
The tie of the round pits Real Madrid against Bayern Munich, a heavyweight rivalry steeped in history.
With 21 European titles between them, this clash could easily pass for a final.
