CHAN 2024: Roads closed in Nairobi ahead of Kenya – Madagascar

In Kenya, the national police have announced multiple road closures in Nairobi this Friday due to the CHAN 2024 quarter-final between Kenya and Madagascar at Kasarani Stadium.

From the city center, motorists heading to Thika Road must now use Kiambu Road, while those coming from Thika, Juja, or Ruiru are being redirected to the Northern Bypass. Drivers from Githurai will take Githurai 44 – Kiambu Road, and access to Mwiki is now rerouted through Ruaka and Lucky Summer.

For fans without a pass, entry will only be allowed via the service road at exits 7 and 8. Heavy traffic congestion has already been reported, and police are urging everyone to plan their routes in advance, cooperate with officers, and follow all detours to avoid road chaos.
