Chelsea are now in advanced talks this week to sign a player who is desperate to join them as time runs out in the summer window.

Usually we are used to having these updates every other day from Fabrizio Romano, but this time it is a different outlet providing us with the news on this one.

Chelsea have seven days left in this transfer window to get deals done and it is still the case that they need outgoings before they can move on and sign a couple more players that they wish to bring in.

Tyrique George is getting interest from many clubs this week and there is a decent chance that he will move somewhere, whether on loan or on a permanent deal.

And defender Axel Disasi is one other player that Chelsea could look to sell still this week and he’s become the subject of interest from a number of Premier League clubs who are trying to find creative ways to sign the centre back this window.

One of the players they want to sign if they can get some more player sales done is Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.

Outlet Football London reports that Chelsea are in advanced talks with Manchester United to sign Garnacho.

The Argentine is apparently desperate to move to Stamford Bridge. Bayern Munich recently made an enquiry to Garnacho’s entourage, but the winger told the German champions that he has his heart set on a switch to Chelsea instead. It is now up to the two clubs to reach an agreement over a fee as Garnacho waits patiently for an update.

Feels inevitable that this will happen now.
