In a recent report, Fichajes revealed that Chelsea are keeping a keen eye on Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott. It has been claimed that the Blues are eyeing a move to secure the services of the English talent this off-season.
Scott has managed to shine at times with his performances at the heart of Bournemouth’s midfield during this campaign. The 22-year-old has found the back of the net four times and earned one assist in 34 matches for the Cherries this season across all fronts.
The English sensation is currently among the best central midfielders in the Premier League. Thus, Chelsea would do well to lure him to the Vitality Stadium this summer.
His current contract at the Vitality Stadium will run out in the summer of 2028, which could open the door for the Blues to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Scott is a good tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when required and is a good passer as well.
The English talent can even contribute by scoring and creating a few important goals for his team from midfield. Scott is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also fill in as a right-sided wide player or as an attacking midfielder if required. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at Bournemouth.
We can expect Scott to bring more quality and depth to Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior’s midfield department. He has what it takes to nail down a regular first-team spot at Stamford Bridge next season.
At 22, Scott has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a worthy target for the Blues to pursue in the upcoming transfer window. With all things considered, Rosenior would be wise to try everything they can to snap him up at the end of this campaign as he would help the Blues challenge for a top-four spot in the Premier League over the next few years.
