France international and Chelsea centre-back Benoît Badiashile (24) has committed his short-term future to the Blues by announcing to Foot Mercato he’ll remain with Enzo Maresca’s team for the upcoming 2025-2026 campaign.”Yes, I’ll still be at Chelsea next season. The outlet adds that Chelsea’s Italian head coach also made Badiashile aware that he would count on him for next season. Badiashile only featured 22 times last season with Chelsea, half of his appearances occurred in Conference League games. Marseille reportedly considered signing him, but Badiashile made clear his future lies with Chelsea, with whom he is under contract until 2030.

The former AS Monaco centre-back was part of the Chelsea squad that took home the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. Badiashile started in the group stage 3-0 win against Espérance Tunis and also featured in the last-16 extra-time victory against SL Benfica.
