Chelsea Football Club have been charged with 74 breaches of Football Association regulations.
The charges primarily concern alleged breaches of agent regulations and third-party investment rules.
The conduct under investigation spans from 2009 to 2022, largely occurring between the 2010/11 and 2015/16 seasons, during Roman Abramovich's ownership.
Chelsea's current ownership group self-reported these historical financial irregularities to the FA and other regulators following their due diligence process.
The club has been given until 19 September to formally respond to the charges from the Football Association.
