One former Chelsea striker has been previewing the Chelsea vs Tottenham game this coming Thursday but fears Chelsea have been flat lately.
Chelsea are going to be busy in the upcoming transfer window and they will have a number of deals they will look to be pulling off both outgoing and incoming.
We have been hearing about a host of names that Chelsea could go for in the market again at the end of the season, and the name of Rafa Leao is one creeping back in again, with Chelsea being linked to him a number of times over the years.
Chelsea of course have already completed the deals to sign two players from Sporting, with one of them arriving this summer and the other the following summer. Apparently, Chelsea felt pressure from other top clubs so that’s why they got the deals for Geovany Quenda and Dario Essugo done early in some pre-deals.
But a lot of this other business they are looking to do will depend on whether they get Champions League football this season or not, so every game is huge now for Chelsea, especially the Spurs game.

Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton, writing for BBC Sport, has given his prediction for what promises to be an entertaining London derby.
He said: “This is a great game to finish the week off. It ended up 4-3 to Chelsea earlier in the season, and there are likely to be a few more goals this time too.
“Chelsea have players like Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke back from injury to bolster their attack, but Spurs have got some key players like Micky van de Ven fit again too.
“Tottenham’s league campaign has been disappointing—it is winning the Europa League or bust for them—while Chelsea are still chasing the Champions League places.
“Spurs looked tired to me before the international break, so it will be interesting to see what they are like here. We know how exciting they can be on their day, it is just those days have been few and far between this season.
“Chelsea have been a bit flat as well, but maybe this is the game where both teams come to life and serve up a thriller—that is what I am hoping for anyway.”
