Popular French reporter Julien Laurens has been looking ahead to tonight’s Chelsea vs PSG Champions League clash.
The Blues have a massive uphill struggle to stand any chance of still advancing in the competition after losing the first leg 5-2 away from home. Overturning that is near impossible, and they will have to score three goals without conceding to at least take it into extra time. But in football, you can never say never.

We know Chelsea can score goals against PSG, they have shown that the last two times they have played them, with one of those games actually being a 3-0 win for Chelsea in the Club World Cup final in the summer. They also scored two against them last week.
So, can they do it? Laurens isn’t completely writing them off!

In quotes picked up on X last night, Laurens said ahead of the game tonight:
“Chelsea is capable of putting three goals past PSG tomorrow. The problem is, they’re likely to concede some too… It seems pretty tough to imagine the Blues qualifying. The English media are pretty pessimistic too.”
I don’t think there will be many Chelsea fans with any belief that they can do the impossible tonight. But in football, anything can happen.
Jamie Carragher and Thierry Henry were on Monday Night Football, and they completely took apart Chelsea’s efforts to defend on Saturday.
Two Chelsea players had poor games against Newcastle, and it’s clear that one of them needs to be dropped.
