In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Chelsea playmaker Cole Palmer is on the radar of Manchester City. It is understood that the Mancunian club are planning to launch a move to sign the English talent from the Blues this summer.
Palmer has enjoyed a productive campaign at the West London club as he has put in a run of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 24-year-old has found the back of the net 11 times and earned three assists in 34 matches for Chelsea this season across various competitions.
The English talent is currently one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League. Hence, it is no surprise that Man City are showing interest in bringing him back to the Etihad Stadium this off-season.
His current contract at Stamford Bridge will run out in the summer of 2033. Hence, Chelsea are under no immediate pressure to cash in on him in this transfer period unless they receive a massive offer for his services.

Palmer is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with it out in the wide areas. He has got the vision to create some decent chances in the final third and can shoot the ball with power from long range. Palmer can chip in by scoring his fair share of goals, but needs to find a way to pick up more assists up top.
The English attacker mainly operates in the number ten position but can also play as a striker or as a right-sided wide player if required. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and is currently one of the first names on Chelsea‘s teamsheet.
Hence, the Blues cannot afford to lose a player of his quality this summer. The West London club should rather focus on keeping hold of him beyond the end of this campaign as he could help them get back to challenging for a European spot in the Premier League over the next few years.
At 24, Palmer has his peak years ahead of him and would have a better market value in the future. Therefore, Chelsea would be wise to retain his services beyond this summer.
