PSG secured a convincing 4-0 win over Real Madrid on Wednesday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The capital club scored three goals in the first 30 minutes of the contest and the Spanish side never recovered.
On the first goal, after Raúl Asencio’s mistake, Ousmane Dembélé won the ball inside the box but was stopped by Thibaut Courtois. Fabián Ruiz was quick to react and calmly finished with his left foot.
The second goal for PSG came after an error. Under pressure from Ousmane Dembélé, Antonio Rüdiger gave away a risky ball. Dembélé quickly closed in on Courtois and fired a left-footed shot that beat the Belgian keeper.
On the third goal of the first half, after a brilliant team move, Achraf Hakimi broke free down the right and spotted Ruiz in the center. Ruiz shrugged off Federico Valverde and calmly finished with his left foot.
As for the last goal of the match, it came in the final minutes after Achraf Hakimi made a strong run down the right, he found Bradley Barcola inside the box. Barcola stayed calm and quickly set up Gonçalo Ramos, who turned and fired a shot to score.

Following the win by PSG, former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Andros Townsend used one word to describe what Luis Enrique has transformed the Parisians into this season.
“I’m running out of superlatives to describe this Paris St-Germain side,” Townsend said (h/t BBC). “Luis Enrique has created a monster.”
Meanwhile, former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel also said on DAZN that no team wants to run into PSG because of how they’re currently playing.
“I don’t think anybody wants to play PSG right now,” Mikel said (h/t BBC). “Every team in the world right now is looking at them asking ‘how can we play like this?’ Everything they did was an absolute masterclass.”
