Chelsea to host Man City on opening day as WSL announce fixture schedule for new season | OneFootball

The Women’s Super League (WSL) have confirmed the fixture schedule for the upcoming season.

The WSL season commences on the weekend of September 5, which coincides with the men’s international break.

Every single game will be broadcast live for fans to watch on Sky Sports, the BBC or YouTube.

Title holders Chelsea kick off their campaign against Andrée Jeglertz’s Manchester City at Stamford Bridge, UEFA Women’s Champions League winners Arsenal face newly-promoted London City Lionesses, while Liverpool face arch-rivals Everton at Anfield.

Chelsea v Manchester City – Friday 5 September, 2025 at 7.30pm. Live on Sky Sports.

Arsenal v London City Lionesses – Saturday 6 September, 2025 at 1.30pm. Live on BBC One.

Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham United – Sunday 7 September, 2025 at 12pm. Live on Sky Sports.

Manchester United v Leicester City – Sunday 7 September, 2025 at 12pm. Live on Sky Sports.

Liverpool v Everton – Sunday 7 September, 2025 at 12pm. Live on Sky Sports.

Brighton & Hove Albion v Aston Villa – Sunday 7 September, 2025 at 12pm. Live on Sky Sports.

Arsenal have made a statement of intent with the signings of Chloe Kelly, Olivia Smith, and Taylor Hinds, among others. Their highly anticipated visit to Chelsea is set for January 25. Before that, Sonia Bompastor’s side will make the trip to the Emirates on November 8.

Chelsea will head north to face Manchester City on February 1 after taking on the Cityzens on the opening day of the season. The Blues will also be hoping to end the season on a high once again at Stamford Bridge, where they take on Manchester United on the final day.

The Gunners’ north London derbies are set for November 16 and March 29, dates that will also host the Manchester derby between Manchester City and Manchester United, adding further intrigue to the Women’s Super League calendar.
