It’s all starting to heat up at the moment in the transfer market as clubs scramble around to get deals done in these final six days of the summer window, and Chelsea are naturally heavily involved in many stories right now.

We’ve just had confirmation that Nicolas Jackson will definitely leave Chelsea this window in the remaining six days after his agent has come out with a big breaking news statement this lunchtime.

And apparently it is Aston Villa who are the club in pole position to sign Jackson in these remaining days of the transfer window, although I can actually see him going to Newcastle right now rather than Villa, or maybe even Bayern Munich.

Either way, it’s just one of many situations and stories around Chelsea right now that needs to be sorted out. They also have a defender they still need and want to sell.

Disasi to Sunderland?

Axel Disasi is gaining interest and approaches late in the window, and both Sunderland and Bournemouth have been credited with serious interest.

However, journalist Kieran Gill of The Daily Mail reports on his X account today:

“Re Axel Disasi, Bournemouth interested in loan, not finalised, only one of the names on their shortlist, talks ongoing. Sunderland this morning playing down talk of any approach/bid for 27yo defender. We’ll see. Just one of several #CFC players whose next steps uncertain.”

No idea where he goes

If Bournemouth only want to loan Disasi then that’s no good for Chelsea. If Sunderland are playing the interest down what does that mean? Are they being diplomatic or is it legit? Time will tell.
