Chelsea are keen on a move for 19-year-old Bayern forward Mathys Tel to replace Nkunku if he departs
Chelsea have told Bayern Munich they want around £65million for Christopher Nkunku.
Nkunku could leave Chelsea this month and the Blues are interested in a move for 19-year-old Bayern forward Mathys Tel to replace him if he departs.
Bayern are keen on a move for Nkunku, who is facing an uncertain future after being left with a diminishing role at Stamford Bridge under Enzo Maresca.
Chelsea paid an initial fee of £52m to sign Nkunku from RB Leipzig in 2023 and believe his value has increased his then.

The 27-year-old has scored 13 goals for Chelsea this season but he has found opportunities limited in recent weeks and struggled to put pressure on Nicolas Jackson despite his quiet spell.
Nkunku was underwhelming when given a rare start in the 2-0 defeat away at Ipswich in December and missed a penalty at 0-0 in another against Morecambe on Saturday.
Maresca has made it clear he prefers traditional wingers in his system.
No swap deal between Chelsea and Bayern has been proposed yet, with the Blues insisting the two potential deals for Nkunku and Tel would be separate.
Tel is highly-rated across Europe, having debuted for Rennes at 16 and then signed for Bayern in a €28.5m move a year later.
