Chelsea winger Estevao Willian impressed as Brazil swept to a 5-0 friendly win over South Korea in Seoul.
Estevao scored twice as the South Americans ran riot at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, to continue his impressive start to the campaign.
The 18-year-old linked up with Chelsea from Palmeiras in the summer and scored a stoppage-time winner against Liverpool in the Premier League before the international break.
On Friday, he ensured Brazil ruined Son Heung-min’s record-breaking night as the former Tottenham captain became South Korea’s most capped player of all time.
Real Madrid star Rodrygo also scored twice for Brazil, with club teammate Vinicius Junior also on target. The win was a morale-boosting performance for the Selecao, who endured a challenging qualification campaign for the 2026 World Cup. Brazil finished fifth in the CONMEBOL standings.
With their place at the tournament now assured, Brazil’s focus is on finalising their preparations under Carlo Ancelotti. The five-time world champions face Japan in their next fixture on Tuesday.
