Alyssa Thompson has started to establish herself at Chelsea following a club-record move from Angel City this summer.

The USNWT attacker had to remain patient for opportunities with the Blues, but soon showed her quality with a goal and an assist in a 4-0 home win over Paris FC last month.

Despite success in European competitions, Thompson failed to score in her first five WSL appearances.

However, the 21-year-old broke that goalless streak with a well-taken early strike against Arsenal on Saturday.
