With only a few matches left in the Clausura 2026 regular season, the possibility for Chivas Femenil to climb into the top spots of the standings is more alive than ever. Matchday 14 will take them to Tijuana, where they will face Club Tijuana Femenil—a team also aiming for a playoff spot, but one that will have to deal with the Rojiblancas’ collective solidity.
Although the Rebaño holds the upper hand in the overall head-to-head against the Xolos, this Sunday, March 29 clash presents a golden opportunity for Antonio Contreras’ side. A win would tilt the balance in their favor in matches played on Baja California soil.
So far, six matches have been played at Estadio Caliente, with a very even record: two wins for Chivas, two for the home side, and two draws. However, the goal tally favors Guadalajara, with 8 scored and only 5 conceded. In fact, the biggest win in this rivalry came in Tijuana, when Chivas cruised to a 1–4 victory in Matchday 7 of CL20.
One thing is certain: this will be an exciting matchup at the border, with a proactive Chivas Femenil side aiming not only for all three points, but also to take the lead in the away head-to-head against Tijuana.
