Chivas Femenil and their solid performance against Mazatlán | OneFootball

Motivated after stringing together three wins in the second half of the 2025 Apertura and after a well-deserved few days off, Chivas Femenil has turned its full attention to Matchday 12, when it will visit the Pearl of the Pacific for the second time this calendar year.

Against the Cañoneras, the Rebaño has its youngest rivalry, as it has only been in existence for five years, but that does not mean that there have been few memorable moments. In fact, the Rojiblancas' record against the Sinaloa team is almost perfect, with some very lopsided scores along the way.

So far, we have witnessed 10 editions of the clash between Guadalajara and Mazatlán, with a balance of nine wins for Guadalajara and only one defeat, with the peculiarity that Chivas Femenil has never failed to score when facing the Sinaloa team. In total, the Rebaño Sagrado has scored 39 goals, averaging almost four goals per game against the Cañoneras.

This, of course, is derived from the scores that the rivalry has produced, starting with the most recent 8-0 win for Chiverío at El Kraken, which became the biggest win in the series. Added to this result are the 7-0 win in AP22, the 6-0 win in CL23, and the 5-0 wins in AP20 and AP23.

Unsurprisingly, Alicia Cervantes, nicknamed "The Predator", has scored a quarter of those goals, with 10 goals to her name in the rivalry against the Mazatlecas.

As in any match, coach Antonio Contreras' team will have to take to the Kraken's field to confirm and expand their statistics, with a view to building broader positive momentum ahead of the close of AP25.
