Chivas Femenil’s project continues to take shape in the Clausura 2026, as evidenced by their five-match unbeaten run to start the tournament, which they will look to extend this Sunday when they face León. As if that weren’t enough, the Estadio AKRON has been a fortress, with Guadalajara holding a perfect home record that will also be on the line.

With the goal of continuing to collect points in the women’s league, head coach Antonio Contreras selected the 21 Rojiblancas who could see action against La Fiera. The call-up list includes several notable updates, which we break down below.

- Mia Urbano, a player who joined the Chivas Sub-19 side last December as part of the partnership between Guadalajara and Legends FC, received her first call-up to the first team.

- Celeste Espino is currently in her reconditioning process and will soon rejoin full team training.

- Casandra Montero is already training alongside the squad, but she is still not eligible for this Sunday’s match.

- Jasmine Casarez reported muscle discomfort and underwent the corresponding evaluations, which showed no serious injury; however, the decision was made not to include her in the squad.

- Natalia Villarreal reported discomfort in her right knee and therefore will not be available to face León.
