In just under an hour, the ball will be rolling in Munich’s Allianz Arena as FC Bayern take on Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final second leg. We bring you the line-ups for the game

Vincent Kompany has almost a full squad for the second leg against Real Madrid. With the exception of Lennart Karl (torn muscle fibre) and Sven Ulreich (torn adductor muscle), all players are available to the Munich team. Serge Gnabry, who has been complaining about knee problems recently, is also ready to play again

While Kompany rested many of his stars in the 5-0 win against FC St. Pauli, the Belgian will once again field his best possible squad against the Whites

Kompany remains true to himself

In front of Manuel Neuer in goal, the Belgian has opted for a back four with Josip Stanisic and Konrad Laimer at full-back, with Jonathan Tah and Dayot Upamecano starting in the center of defence

Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlović will start in defensive midfield, while an attacking back three of Michael Olise, Serge Gnabry and Luis Diaz will be deployed in front of them. Harry Kane is set to start in the center of attack, meaning Kompany will field exactly the same eleven as he did a week ago at the Bernabeu

Real rebuild

Real coach Alvaro Arbeloa has made four changes from the first leg, with Ferland Mendy starting at left-back in place of Alvaro Carreras, who was completely overwhelmed by Michael Olise in Madrid. Dean Huijsen is also replaced by Éder Militão in the center of defence, as Huijsen is facing a yellow card suspension for a possible semi-final first leg

Arbeloa is also making major changes in midfield, replacing Tchouameni and Pitarch with Bellingham, who was a strong substitute in the first leg, and Brahim Diaz. Valverde is thus moving into the center of midfield. Only the attack remains untouched: Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Jr. will also be on the hunt for goals in Munich

An overview of the line-ups:

FC Bayern: Neuer – Stanisic, Upamecano, Tah, Laimer – Kimmich, Pavlovic – Olise, Gnabry, Luis Diaz – Kane

Real Madrid: Lunin – Trent, Militão, Rüdiger, Mendy – Valverde, Bellingham – Díaz, Güler – Mbappé, Vinícius Jr.
