FLW's Norwich fan pundit has given his verdict on a possible return to the club for Daniel Farke

Many Norwich City supporterson social media have expressed an interest in bringing Daniel Farke in as manager in the event he is sacked by Leeds United.
The German earned a strong reputation at Carrow Road for twice leading the team to promotion to the Premier League.
The 49-year-old is under pressure at Elland Road following the Whites’ 3-1 loss to Nottingham Forest last weekend, which has left the side 16th in the table after 11 games played.
It remains to be seen whether Farke would be open to a return to Norwich, where he remains a fan favourite.
The Canaries are currently searching for a new manager following the decision to part ways with Liam Manning at the weekend, with the club at risk of relegation to League One.

When asked if he’d be open to Farke returning, FLW’s Norwich fan pundit Zeke Downes claimed that it would be a risk he’d rather the club didn’t take.
He believes the German could ruin his legacy at Carrow Road, which wouldn’t be worth the possibility of him turning things around amid their poor form.
“I’m not surprised about the links to Farke,” Downes told Football League World.
“And I’m not surprised about the scrutiny at Leeds.
“For some reason they’ve always been not very happy with him despite the fact that he was proven in the Championship and he got over 90 points every single time.
“And with them he just missed out on the top two with a very high points total that would normally win the league.
“I think it’s over the top from them, and I don’t know why they are calling for his head now because they’re not even in the bottom three.
“I wouldn’t bring him back if he was sacked purely for the fact that I don’t want to ruin the legacy that he had.
“And with the position we’re in right now, it’s very bad.
“So yes, the risk could pay off and we could bring him in and it could rejuvenate the whole squad, and then we could push up the table again.
“But there’s the risk it doesn’t go very well, and it taints his legacy, which is obviously a legacy of one of the best managers that we’ve had.
“I don’t know if we should ever really go back to a manager that has done really well, because there is that risk.”
Manning was appointed in the summer following Norwich’s disappointing 13th place finish in the Championship table.
The 40-year-old oversaw a sixth place finish for Bristol City in the previous campaign, which had earned him a reputation as a promising young coach.
But two wins from 15 games led to his departure, with fans now clamouring for Farke to be on the shortlist of potential candidates to replace him.
The ex-Norwich boss remains in charge at Elland Road, but he oversaw 87 wins from 208 games in charge during his time with the Norfolk outfit.

Norwich need results, so worrying about Farke’s legacy should be a secondary concern if they get the chance to re-appoint him as manager.
The club are at risk of relegation to League One at the moment, and the current Leeds boss is someone that has a proven track record and would know how to get them out of this situation.
However, he remains in charge of the Whites and it is unclear whether that will change in the immediate term, so the Canaries must search for Manning’s replacement without him in mind.
Farke would be a great appointment for Norwich, but for now their focus must be on bringing in someone that is actually attainable.
