Philippe must stay! They literally can’t afford to let him go. It isn’t that hard to comprehend…

So theRangers manager Philippe Clement has been given the dreaded vote of confidence by the Ibrox hierarchy, but this one is as secure as they come as the Ibrox club literally can’t afford to dismiss the hapless Belgian Waffler.

Recently theRangers supporters have been vocal in their criticism of their manager, as have the Rangers supporters working in the SMSM and they all want him relieved of his duties

What they can’t seem to grasp is that in order to sack Clementthe club will have to compensate him to the tune of several million pounds, and they simply can’t afford it. Having extended his contract in the summer Clement would be due a pay-off of around £2.5m and that’s money that the latest Ibrox club doesn’t have so they’d need a big win on Mobile Casinos in Australia – Play Anywhere, Anytime to raise the necessary funds to start again with a new boss who would be looking for a transfer budget to bring in his own players.

It’s not that hard to comprehend, theRangers recently produced financial results that would have administrators perking up. As a consequence they’ve tightened their belt meaning that any investment on the playing front will need to be shelved unless they sell some of their current players. It really isn’t that hard to understand is it? Even for a fan base as deluded as the Ibrox one.

Firing the bumbling Belgian would mean paying him almost three years salary thanks to that recent contract extension. If they are teetering on the edge of financial distress and can’t afford to add to their squad, why would they jeopardise that by adding further fuel to the fire? To use a well known phrase from a hit movie, ‘think Mcfly, think’ Just as well their club can never die.

Meanwhile today theRangers supporters are planning to walk out on the 55th minute of their match against St Johnstone at Ibrox in protest at Clement staying in situ. It really should have been the first minute if it’s related to the titles their club has won.

St Johnstone desperately need something today as they are staring relegation in the face. If they managed to get a result then Clement surely couldn’t survive. Maybe therefore it’s down to theRangers players? If Big Phil has lost the dressing room…

Just an Ordinary Bhoy
