Noah Okafor has seemingly been heading away from AC Milan this January, but it could be possible that he remains due to Sergio Conceicao.
It has been a fantastic start to life in Milan for Conceicao. The Portuguese head coach has already won the Supercoppa, and to many, it could be the start of a return to something special. However, the coach just wants to focus on one thing at a time, rather than getting carried away by two games.
Part of the reason why so many people have bought into the coach is to do with his mannerisms. However, there has also been an admiration for how the win in Riyadh came about. The Rossoneri, despite having several injuries to deal with, looked superb in large parts, and with a larger squad, there is hope.
In a short space of time, the coach managed to change the situation of Theo Hernandez, and the squad generally looked to have more desire. So a transformation could occur, and that is true for everyone, not just the squad in Saudi Arabia.
As Calciomercato.com writes, despite not travelling to Saudi, Noah Okafor is a player of interest for the new coach. In fact, the Portuguese wants to talk to the attacker to see what the future holds, and whether there is a possibility of working together.
This, of course, happens with RB Leipzig being persistent about a possible deal – the German club are looking at a loan agreement with a buy clause inserted, with contact still ongoing. Nothing will happen until Conceicao has had a chance to speak to the winger, though.
