Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s role at AC Milan has regularly been scrutinised, and there are now suggestions that the Swede could depart from his role at the club.

Throughout the past year, Ibrahimovic has been a criticised member of the management, largely due to the confusion about his role. Even now, we find out new parts of his role, but with Milan struggling, the Rossoneri are left looking for targets.

Of course, as someone who has been as present as Zlatan, he has become an easy target for frustration, however, he has not helped himself with suggestions that he has clashed with head coaches and members of the management.

Recently, this much has been true again, with Ibra reportedly clashing with Giorgio Furlani, which resulted in the Italian being given control of some big decisions, and this decision, made by Gerry Cardinale, could have consequences.

As Calciomercato.com reports, the former striker is taking a week to work out his future at the club, especially now that he has a role lower than that of the CEO of the club – something which we are unsure of Zlatan’s feelings on.

The next 15 days are set to be vital to the future of the club, and the decision of Ibrahimovic will play a part.
