Como are stepping up their interest in Jhon Lucumí, with the Bologna defender emerging as a leading target as Cesc Fabregas looks to reinforce his backline.
According to calciomercato.it, the Lariani are pushing hard for the Colombian centre-back and are prepared to meet Bologna’s asking price of around €23m.
The defender had already requested to leave a year ago, only for Bologna to delay his exit until this summer, though the right offers have yet to arrive.

There is a complication for Como, however. Aware of long-standing interest from Juventus, Lucumí is said to favour a switch to Turin and the chance to wear the bianconeri shirt.
Como’s trump card may be continental football: with the Lombardy side set to feature in the Champions League next season, the prospect of European nights could yet sway the defender towards Lake Como rather than the Allianz Stadium.
Bologna, for their part, will be happy to cash in provided their valuation is met.
