The German joined the Italian club in a £17 million deal last July but has struggled to replicate the form that made him a standout performer in Scotland where he made 36 goal contributions for the Hoops last season.
Despite Como’s impressive campaign under Cesc Fabregas, with the club currently sitting fourth and pushing for Champions League qualification, Kuhn has failed to secure a consistent role in the starting lineup.
The 26-year-old has managed just one goal in 20 league appearances, many of which have come as a substitute. He has not featured in a Serie A match since mid-February, further underlining his lack of involvement in recent weeks.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Como would be willing to part ways with Kuhn if suitable bids arrive, with the club’s sporting director said to value the player at just over £10 million – potentially accepting a significant loss less than a year after his arrival.
Fabregas is already believed to be assessing reinforcements, with Eintracht Frankfurt’s Algerian international Fares Chaibi among the names under consideration as a possible replacement.
On the topic of ex-Celtic players, Birmingham City manager Chris Davies has clarified that Kyogo Furuhashi’s recent absence from the Blues has not been due to injury.
The Japanese forward has featured sparingly since late January, with only a brief cameo against QPR marking his sole appearance in that period. He has also been left out of the matchday squad in four of Birmingham’s last six fixtures.

Kyogo has endured another difficult season, scoring just once in the Championship, following a challenging spell in France with Rennes after his £10 million move from Celtic.
Davies confirmed that although the striker did suffer a recurrence of a previous shoulder issue earlier in the season, he has since recovered and returned to full training.
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, the former Celtic assistant manager addressed the situation surrounding the forward’s limited involvement.

He said: “He had a bit of a shoulder issue a few weeks ago but he’s around and training.”
Celtic supporters will recall the persistent shoulder problem that affected the 31-year-old, with Brendan Rodgers previously noting that the issue originated during Kyogo’s time in Japan.
It appears that there’s an element of truth in that grass isn’t always greener expression. Just ask Nicolas Kuhn and Kyogo.
