Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has pulled out of the France squad through injury.
The Frenchman has been struggling with a quadriceps injury he picked up during the defeat to Chelsea in the Reds’ last game.

He was left on the bench for France’s win over Azerbaijan and they have now confirmed he will not feature against Iceland either.
“Injured in the right quadriceps during his last match with Liverpool, Ibrahima Konaté has followed a treatment and protocol since his arrival this Monday but will not be able to take his place against Iceland,” the France national team said in a statement.
Benjamin Pavard has replaced Konate in the France squad for their upcoming clash.
