Copa del Rey final ticket plan for Atlético and Real Sociedad at La Cartuja | OneFootball

Atlético and Real Sociedad will meet in the Copa del Rey final at La Cartuja on Saturday 18 April at 21:00. Around 70,000 spectators are expected, with each club to receive 40% of tickets.

According to AS, the showpiece was initially scheduled for 25 April at the same venue but was brought forward. The change followed security concerns over a clash with the Seville Fair and the MotoGP Grand Prix in Jerez, to improve arrangements for travel, safety and hotels.

It is expected that about 26,000 fans from each side will be in the stands, as the federation intends to repeat last season’s allocation. Then, each club received 40% and the RFEF retained 20% for commitments and sponsors, a practice clubs also apply to part of their share.

Atlético will allocate 15% of its quota to commitments, including directors, players’ families, coaching staff and sponsors. The remaining 85% will be for members, who can apply for tickets until 13 March at 18:00, with priority for longer-serving members.

The final split will not be confirmed until a meeting next Wednesday between the RFEF, Atlético and Real Sociedad. That session will settle this and other organisational details for 18 April.
