Corinthians agree loan for Matheus Donelli to Shabab Al Ahli | OneFootball

Corinthians have agreed to loan goalkeeper Matheus Donelli to Shabab Al Ahli in the United Arab Emirates, with the 23-year-old to remain there until mid-2026.

The club said in a statement that he was excused from Friday’s session at CT Joaquim Grava to undergo medical tests with the Dubai side. He is expected to be announced once the physical examinations are completed. Corinthians provided no further details of the deal.

Donelli, a youth product, has had little game time under Dorival Júnior since mid last year, and the club sought loan options during the season without success.

He is currently fourth choice behind starter Hugo Souza, with fellow academy products Felipe Longo and Kauê also ahead of him. He was last named in the matchday squad for the 1-0 win over Vitória in October 2025 in the Brasileirão.

The goalkeeper made his senior debut in 2021 after lifting the Under-17 World Cup with Brazil. He has 28 appearances, with 11 wins, seven draws and 10 defeats, and has conceded 39 goals.

Without the number 32, Corinthians have begun preparations to face Palmeiras on Sunday in the seventh round of the Campeonato Paulista, with kick-off at 20:30 at the Neo Química Arena.
