Corinthians assist chart led by Rodrigo Garro as Gustavo Henrique climbs after 2-0 win | OneFootball

Corinthians beat Colombia's Independiente Santa Fe 2-0 in the Copa Libertadores on Wednesday, with Raniele and Gustavo Henrique scoring. The assists came from Gustavo Henrique and Rodrigo Garro, respectively.

Six minutes into the second half, a Rodrigo Garro corner reached the far side, Gustavo Henrique headed back across and Raniele finished. At 35 minutes, Garro's free-kick found Gustavo Henrique, who scored with a knee in an improvised volley. According to Meu Timao, those contributions left Garro clear as the team's leading creator with six assists this year.

The midfielder has also provided assists against Bahia, Red Bull Bragantino, Cruzeiro and Platense twice.

Gustavo Henrique moved up to joint second on the list with two assists, alongside Matheus Bidu and Kaio César. His first of the year set up Gabriel Paulista to open the scoring against Flamengo in the Supercopa do Brasil.

Both Garro and Gustavo Henrique have started all three matches under Fernando Diniz. If the coach's trend of not repeating the line-up is confirmed again, the pair will be among the starters against Vitória on Saturday in the Campeonato Brasileiro.

Further back, Vitinho, Ryan, Memphis Depay, Yuri Alberto, Dieguinho, Matheuzinho and Pedro Raul have one assist each.
