Corinthians close to loan deal for Allan from Flamengo | OneFootball

Corinthians are close to signing Allan on loan from Flamengo after Flamengo accepted a proposal.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the agreement is a loan with no purchase option and Corinthians will cover 100% of his wages. The midfielder will be loaned until the end of the season.

Head coach Dorival Júnior helped unlock talks, calling Allan several times and urging the club to keep pushing for the deal. Earlier discussions with Corinthians and São Paulo had stumbled over salary terms.

Allan, signed by Flamengo in 2023 at the request of Jorge Sampaoli, has struggled to convince supporters. Mostly a reserve, he has 87 appearances with no goals or assists.

He was omitted from Flamengo’s squad to face Internacional on Wednesday 4. He is also expected to be absent against Sampaio Corrêa at the Maracanã on Saturday 7, the final round of the Campeonato Carioca group stage, with kick-off at 21:00 Brasília time.

At Corinthians, he would compete for a role with Raniele, Charles, Breno Bidon and Carrillo. Allan remains under contract at Flamengo until December 2027.
